About me

Designing clarity, scaling creativity,
and moving brands with purpose.

Bio

Hi, I'm Isaac Day—a Design Systems Architect and Motion Director working at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. Over the years, I've created programs that transform assets into cohesive, world-class systems—from iconography libraries to animation frameworks and scalable design playbooks that bring clarity and unlock creativity.

My work is about more than creating beautiful visuals; it’s about building structures that empower teams, elevate brands, and spark meaningful engagement. I approach every challenge with tenacity and curiosity, always pushing for smarter, more impactful solutions. For me, the value often lies less in the final answer than in the process of solving the problem.

Approach / Philosophy

I believe design should move people. Every grid, curve, and icon can capture attention, guide behavior, and create connection. My philosophy: clarity is the foundation, motion is the voice, and systems make it scalable. Design is discipline meeting delight—creating work that is timeless, precise, and human. Motion brings the heartbeat, while systems ensure creativity grows stronger with every iteration.

Leadership

Throughout my career, I’ve led by building clarity, not control. I’ve guided teams through the complexity of creating systems from scratch—turning scattered files into shared languages that unite designers, engineers, and marketers. My approach is about setting vision while creating space for others to bring their best ideas forward. By championing design systems and motion principles, I’ve helped teams work smarter, faster, and more cohesively.
